A website is now online for the UK Covid-19 Inquiry to be chaired by Baroness Hallett, a retired judge of the Court of Appeal of England and Wales.

Covid-19 has caused millions of deaths around the world. Those deaths have occured because of a complex matrix of failures by international institutions, national governments and "scientific" advisers. Disastrous failures of Public Health have contributed to millions of Covid-19 deaths which I believe to have been avoidable. In a number of countries inquiries are being proposed to examine why Covid-19 has had such devastating effects, in causing millions of (avoidable) deaths and causing unprecedented economic damage around the world. I have serious doubts as to whether, at least in some settings, the inquiries will be able to (or may seek to) uncover the factors which contributed to or caused disastrous failings by international institutions, national governments and "scientific" advisers.
